What is PM Kisan Credit Card Loan?

KCC stands for Kisan Credit Card. The scheme is a part of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana which plays a significant role in supporting the farmers of India. The planned scheme is providing financial assistance of up to 3 lacks to the farmers to meet their needs. Moreover, the ease of access to credits is increasing its effectiveness. The funds are used to enhance agricultural productivity, eventually boosting the industry.

With the collaboration of (RIB) the Reserve Bank of India, and the National Bank for Agriculture and rural development (NABARD), the funds are allocated for the prosperity of Farmers. However, it was initiated back in 1988, but for quick access to loans the KCC was launched in 2019. The aim was to provide financial assistance to small and marginal farmers.

How to Apply for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Credit Card Form

Eligibility Criteria

The PM Kisan Credit card registration enables Kisan to apply for loans. However, one needs to meet the eligibility criteria.

• Indian citizenship
• Small to Marginal Farmer’s Category
• Farmers having upto 2 Hecters of land
• Cultivatable lands (Agriculture Registered Lands)
• White collar records of Adherence to loan payments

Documents Required to Apply for KCC Registration

The applicant must provide the following documents to get the KCC and loan from the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. 

• Identity proof (Aadhaar card, voter ID, passport, etc.)
• Address proof (Aadhaar card, utility bills, etc.)
• Land documents or ownership proof
• Agricultural income proof
• Passport-sized photographs
• Kisan Credit Card application form (available at the Bank)

PM KCC Scheme 2023 Online Application

To apply for a PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Credit Card (KCC) loan, you can follow these steps:

• Go to the official website of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi at pmkisan.gov.in.
• Look for the “Farmers Corner” section on the main menu website.
• Click on “Apply for KCC.”
• Enter your Aadhaar Number. Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number in the designated field.
• After entering your Aadhaar number Submit OTP sent to your registered mobile number
• Once your Aadhaar is verified, you will be redirected to the KCC loan application form. Fill in all the necessary details accurately. 
• Upload Required Documents: Along with the application form, you must upload scanned or digital copies of the required documents mentioned above.
• Review details and click “ Submit.”
